The boys baseball season came to a close today with a 3-2 loss in the Shore Conference Tournament final against Toms River South. Despite the loss, the 2008 Dawgs put together a historic season that will always be remembered. Click the links below for our coverage from the game!

Also, the boys tennis team's run in the state playoffs came to a close today, with a 4-1 loss at the hands of Dwight-Englewood. The Dawgs only victory on the day came from the second doubles team of Zach Goldstein and Mike Richards. The Dawgs still have another match against Manasquan; if they win, they willl capture the Shore Conference Class A Central title!
The girls track team tied with AL Johnson high school for the Central Jersey Group II title. Junior Missy Bellin had the most individual success of all the RFH competitiors as she won the 100 hurdles, 400 hurdles, and 400 meters. Senior Gabby Kelly took 2nd in the 200 meters, and junior Jaime Carroll took 2nd in the 800. Also, junior distance runner Hannah Satzke came in 2nd in the mile and 4th in the 2 mile. The 4x400 relay team also came in 1st with a time of 3:57:90. The girls now move on to the Group II championships, which will be held on May 30th and 31st.
The boys baseball team beat Governor Livingson on Friday, 11-1. They will now face Shore on Tuesday, before taking on St. Rose in the SCT semifinals on Wednesday.
With a win at Mercer County Park, the boys tennis team won the overall Group II championship and made it to the Tournament of Champions. To read an article on the team from DigitalSports.com, click here!
The girls lacrosse season came to a close today with an 9-8 loss to Shore.
Also, the boys lacrosse season came to a close today with a 14-3 lacrosse at the hands of Glen Ridge.
It has truly been a great season for the boys tennis team, with Coach Don Russell's first ever Shore Conference Championship and another Central Group II title. Plenty of RFH teams advanced in the state playoffs on Monday! Here's a quick list of what happened today.
The baseball team moved on in the Central Group II bracket with an 11-1, 6-inning win over Bordentown. Senior Matt Wassel and junior Taylor Brown both hit homeruns, giving them both three homers on the year, and two in the last two games. The Dawgs will now either play 6th seeded Governor Livingston or 11th seeded Hillside, depending upon the winner of that matchup. In the Shore Conference Tournament, the Dawgs are now getting set to play the number 1 seeded Toms River North.
The boys tennis team, coming off of a Shore Conference Championship last week, moved on in the Group II playoffs with a win over Governor Livingston. The team now will play Chatham in the Group II semifinals, and could potentially play either Haddonfield or Pasack Hills in the Group II final. Both the semis and the finals will be played on Thursday.
The girls lacrosse team won 14-7 over Summitt.
Coming up on Wednesday, the 7th seeded boys lacrosse team will be playing 10th seeded Glen Ridge in the 1st round of their state tournament. Assuming the Dawgs win on Wednesday, they will play either 2nd seeded Chatham, Caldwell, or Allentown in the second roud.
The baseball team is still alive in the Shore Conference Tournament, as they moved into the quarterfinals with a 7-0 win over Shore on Saturday! Check out all the Dawg Report coverage below!

The girls lacrosse team lost a thriller to Shore in the Shore Conference Tournament final. RFH was down 8-3 at halftime, but came back to take a 10-9 lead mid-way through the 4th quarter. With 1:21 left, Shore's Kaylee Mikolon scored the winning goal for the Blue Devils. Now, the girls can prepare for the state playoffs. Congratulations to the girls on a great run in the SCT! There were plenty of RFH teams that had games on Thursday. Here's a breakdown of all the action.
The boys lacrosse team played their Shore Conference Tournament quarterfinal matchup against Howell at 7:30, under the lights. On the way to a 10-6 win, the Dawgs got scoring contributions from six different people. Kevin Sharkey, Colin Quinn, Ryan Korn and Steve Sutphen each had two goals a piece. Owen Eastwood and Corey Delaney each had one goal. With just ten seconds left to go in the first half, RFH was on top with a 4-2 lead. With the clocking ticking down, Quinn punched in a momentum changing goal to put the Dawgs ahead 5-2. Although the Rebels quietly kept the game close, the Dawgs remained ahead and held on for the 10-6 victory.

The girls lacrosse team was also successful today, as they beat Jackson Memorial by a score of 15-6 in the Shore Conference Tournament semi-finals! The girls now move on to the championship game, which will be played tomorrow, against Shore, at Monmouth University. The game is set to begin at 4:00 PM.
The baseball team was up against Henry Hudson today, and came away with 10-0 victory after 5 innings. Tom McDonough was on the mound for the Dawgs and moved to 4-0 on the year with the win. The Dawgs now have to get set for their first round Shore Conference Tournament game, where 8th seeded RFH will take on 25th seeded Neptune.
RFH's track team participated in a tri-meet today with Shore Regional and Point Beach. The Dawgs emerged victorious, with Shore coming in second, and Point Beach in 3rd.
The Monmouth County track and field championships began on Wednesday, and Missy Bellin, an RFH junior, represented the Bulldogs well in the races. Bellin won the 400 hurdles with a time of 1:02:26 and also won the 400 hurdles with a time of 57.74. Congratulations to Missy, and good luck on in Saturday in the final!
Also, congratulations to the baseball team for their 6-0 victory over Keansburg, and to softball team for their 4-2 win over St. Rose!
