The boys team took home a victory in the Battle of Ridge Road on Thursday night, as they defeated Red Bank Regional by a score of 55-52. To listen to an interview with Coach Young from after the game, click here.
Also, Randy Foye of the NBA Minnesota Timberwolves was in attendance for the game on Thursday. The Dawg Report was able to talk to Randy for a few after the game about his relationship with the RFH boys basketball program, his thoughts on the game, and his thoughts on the season of his alma mater, Villanova. Congratulations to Rumson-Fair Haven girls basketball head coach George Sourlis on his 500th career victory, which he obtained on Tuesday night against Manasquan. Also, congratulations to Kate Miller getting her 1,500th point on Tuesday night as well.

Basketball season is officially upon us! Both the boys and girls squads are off to good starts, with the boys winning their opener against Matawan and the girls beating both Matawan and Monsignor Donovan.
